Individual law firm dedicated to wealth taxation
Paris, France
About
Inès Choudaly-Aubert
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2021, I practiced for several years at a leading law firm specializing in wealth taxation before deciding in 2026 to pursue my practice independently.
I assist private clients and French and foreign entrepreneurs with all tax issues related to their personal and professional situations, including: transfer of residence to or from France, real estate investment projects in France, advice on wealth structuring, advice on inheritance, reporting obligations (income and wealth tax, foreign accounts, and trusts), and assistance with tax audits and litigation.
With dual qualifications in tax law and art market law, I have also developed particular expertise in assisting artists and art market professionals in a French and international context, as well as in philanthropy-related taxation.
- Master’s degree in Tax Law from Paris-1 Panthéon Sorbonne University, Master’s degree in Art Market and Heritage Law from Paris-2 Panthéon Assas University, and LLM in Tax Law from Queen Mary University of London.
- Member of specialized professional associations: IACF and AIJA.

Defend, assist, support
Taxation is too often perceived as a purely technical matter, far removed from human issues and the defense of rights. However, the tax consequences of ongoing proceedings or a lack of advice can be serious and destabilizing.
Convinced that access to justice and defense should not depend on personal or financial circumstances, I have chosen to devote part of my practice to providing free (pro bono) support, specifically focused on assisting women who are isolated.
This support may relate to:
- tax emergencies, particularly in the context of tax audits or reassessments,
- tax issues related to separations or divorces,
- and more broadly, any situation in which tax legal assistance is necessary to understand, secure, and defend one’s rights.
Terms and conditions of pro bono support
Women wishing to benefit from this scheme can submit their situation by email to the Contact address. Each request is carefully considered, particularly with regard to the financial and personal situations described. Depending on the nature of the case and the time available for pro bono work, I will contact you to define the terms and conditions of the support envisaged.
This approach is based on a deep conviction: tax law is also a right of defense, and it must be available to those who need it most.
